Tempting Tequila Sunrise

A Tequila Sunrise is a very refreshing alcoholic long drink, with a sweet and sour mix of tequila, orange juice and grenadine.

It’s always such fun ordering a Tequila Sunrise. You can’t help but smile broadly as you see it making its way out to you. It’s an absolute party in a glass, from the first sip to the last!

Named for its appearance, the gradients of colour in this cocktail resemble a sunrise, with yellows, oranges and reds glowing brightly like the heavenly body that it truly is.

Going down, a Tequila Sunrise is a very refreshing alcoholic long drink, with a sweet and sour mix of tequila, orange juice and grenadine (a syrup made with pomegranate). It tastes as good as it looks, but is deceptively dangerous because it’s very easy to have one too many. This is a lot more than a cold drink!

It’s said that Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones considered the Tequila Sunrise their go-to drink while on tour. And if was good enough to give them some Satisfaction, who am I to argue?
